|Search for prime numbers of type 4n - 1 and
4n + 1. The inset table shows the primes that can be generated for
values of n up to 14. The difference column is used to show how many
more times primes of type 4n - 1 appear than those of type 4n + 1.
It seems as though there are never less prime numbers of the 4n - 1 variety than there are of the type 4n + 1.
Is there a value for n at which the sum of type 4n + 1 is greater than that of 4n - 1?
