PUZZLET 008

Triplets of Numbers

This Puzzlet takes the numbers 3, 5, 7, 14, 18, 23, 32, 43, 51, 53, 62, 71, 83, 84, and 96 and challenges you to find which total can be derived in the maximum number of ways using any three numbers at a time. For example, 26 can be totalled in two different ways: 3+5+18, and 5+7+14. Notice that it's permitted to use "5" in both.

Up to two numbers can be repeated in this way, but not all three (so you couldn't use 5+18+3 to make 26 because 3+5+18 has already been used).
